The purpose of this photography installation was to demonstrate a silent but deadly take on the mobilizing and active work we do each an everyday. Demonstrating our cities love, rawness and even quiet moments within boundaries that connect and disconnect. The awareness to the idea, that “we don’t disappear, and we are part of something greater.” What best to show it but by our own perspective of what we live and breathe as we capture those moments. “Calling all Cities” would be an opening platform for discussion, as well as adaptation of ones work to make a community known and heard.

The photo installation didn’t just bring light to this topic, but also provide an outlet for those seeking a way to improve within those guidelines.

Hands Up Gallery will provide a home for those artists growing as well as looking for a place to volunteer. With this installation as a nonprofit, as well as a curating team of artists we look up to, and pushing forward everyone’s growth.

This photography installation will be dedicated to the awareness of dependence, as well as being a surviving community within a marginalized section of a government system that gives leniency to those educated in wealth, or support within a specific platform.

Next to the street photography exhibition is also a gallery for the students we have had the pleasure of teaching through our Wednesday classes @thegrafflab.

The classes are our way of volunteering and giving back to the youth that seeks guidance and support in their journey through art.

A big thank you to @maskdemons for participating and supporting our event, as well as all of our lovely artist vendors. Thank you all for your support.
